Why?

Tom has a large head. A very large head. Quite a lot larger than your average head. He's invented this theory that this is due to a severe accident he had as a child. To test the theory, we're asking for your - yes, you right there - your help. Please tell us your head measurement so that we can perform a highly empirical scientific experiment to discover the relationship between juvenile accidents and cranium size.

How?

1) Get a tape measure, piece of string, very long finger or garrotting wire, whichever is handiest.

2) Wrap said measuring device around your head, just above your eyebrows.

3) Write to us, giving your head measurement in cm, age, sex, any stories involving childhood and head trauma that you can remember, and the age at which these accidents happened. Remember: The more painful, embarrassing or humiliating the better.
